We are consistently developing our solutions further and embedding accessibility as a firm component in product development, quality assurance, and documentation.
A current example of this is our GWeb:
Through targeted further development, we have significantly improved the usability of the system. This includes optimised keyboard navigation, enhanced screen reader compatibility, and visual adjustments for greater contrast, structure, and readability.
For example, we were able to increase the Accessibility Score on a tested page from 2.5 to 9.6 out of 10 points. The improvements were rolled out site-wide to nearly all websites in GWeb using the current Genius Server version 3.23.2. This ensures that accessibility is considered system-wide, rather than just on a case-by-case basis.
Accessibility doesn't stop at the surface for us.
We are also gradually making technical information, user manuals, and further relevant documents accessible. In addition, we support the conversion of existing documents into PDF/UA-compliant formats. In parallel, we are working on standardised testing and quality processes to ensure and further develop accessibility in our products on a permanent basis.
By the way: In GWeb, we offer you the opportunity to use our template for an accessibility statement, where you only need to adapt the customer-specific information. The statement is automatically integrated into your GWeb.
