Printing infrastructure reimagined
For ZDF, as part of an MFP consolidation, 2,500 devices were reduced to 700 and driver management was centralised via Genius PDM, featuring a self-service client for all domestic and international sites.
With Genius PDM, we have taken driver management out of the ticketing system. Our staff, whether in Mainz or in our overseas studio, now set up printers themselves. This noticeably relieves the burden on IT and at the same time gives us the control we need for a secure, uniform printing infrastructure.
