The Imagus Professional enhances the functionalities of the device embedded Imagus Std. by adding Server based services. Therefore our Imagus Document Server (iDS) is always delivered with it.
Despite "smart" customizing the user Interface with Imagus, the iDS utilizesuser authentication and print queue control. This combination allows using personalized functionalities such as:
- Print2Me: This it not just another pull printing solution, it’s more. We allow users to choose their Print job from a list. As a special feature we allow delegation printing, this means, that a colleague may print into your job list, so you may directly retrieve the job at the device.
- Scan2Me: Just press one button to scan your personalized e-mail.
- Scan2Homefolders: This means you are allowed to scan directly in your pre-allocated storage path.
- Scan2archive: Special connectors to scan directly into known ECM systems.
- Scan2URL: This is a very special functionality. If you have to scan and send larger file quantities to a colleague but your mail system has a file size limitation, we save your files in central storage area (web, archive, ftp etc.) and send the corresponding link via e-mail.
But that is not all. The Imagus Professional version also offers unique accounting and rights restriction functions. It is possible to set user quotas or to limit their system access. When releasing a print job you may also enter cost center or mandate information. All of this may also be associated with central corporate directories via LDAP or SLDAP.
Card reader authentication is completely integrated in this product as well. This allows you to use your existing company badge and authentication infrastructure to login at the printing or multifunctional device.
